(ECNS) –The U.S. and the military bloc of NATO shoulder unshirkable responsibilities on the Ukraine crisis and NATO is in no position to criticize or pressure China, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said on Thursday at a press conference in Beijing.
Mao made the remarks when asked about her response to the NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg's comments that China refuses to condemn Russia's aggression and that it echoes Russian propaganda and it props up Russia's economy.
On the Ukraine crisis, China upholds an objective and just position and has been advocating a political settlement of the crisis and working for talks for peace, which has been supported by the vast majority of countries in the world, the spokeswoman noticed.
China's position is comprehensively and systematically outlined in China's Position on the Political Settlement of the Ukraine Crisis. History will tell who is truly standing on the right side upholding justice, she added.
