(ECNS) -- The China National Space Administration and the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization(APSCO) signed a joint statement on cooperation toward an international lunar research station on Tuesday in Hefei City of Anhui Province.
The statement was signed by Xu Hongliang, secretary general of the China National Space Administration, and APCO secretary general Yu Qi at the opening ceremony of the International Deep Space Exploration Conference (Tiandu Forum).
It indicates that both parties will conduct extensive and in-depth cooperation in international lunar research station demonstration, engineering implementation, operation, and application.
The specific areas of cooperation include, but are not limited to, joint demonstration of scientific goals, joint design and development of spacecraft, scientific instrument loading, scientific and technological experiments, data analysis, education and training, etc.
