(ECNS) -- The finance, digital economy, and software information service industry still lead the salary ranking in Beijing in the second quarter, according to the latest data published by Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on Saturday.
In the second quarter, the median monthly average salaries of finance, digital economy, and software information service industry were 15,030 yuan (around $2098.8), 13,908 yuan, and 13,480 yuan, respectively.
As the peak season for recruitment, the second quarter witnessed an increase in job seeking. Additionally, the consumption during the "May Day" and "Dragon Boat Festival" holidays stimulated various key industries, leading to a slight increase in the median salaries, the report said.
Among them, the life services industry stood out with a month-on-month median average salary increase of 2.9 percent, driven by continued growth in cultural tourism consumption and online consumption.
According to the report, with further recovery of business activities, the median salaries of skilled personnel, primarily in the production and manufacturing sectors, have shown a rebound. In the second quarter, the median monthly salaries of high-skilled talents have all exceeded ten thousand yuan.
