(ECNS) -- A coach carrying 21 Chinese tourists rolled over in Vietnam's central Khanh Hoa province on Tuesday, killing four Chinese tourists, the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City confirmed.
The coach was running from Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province to Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province when it rolled over on Khanh Le Mountain Pass in Khanh Hoa.
The seriously injured people were sent to the Khanh Hoa General Hospital for treatment and the slightly injured were transferred to the nearest hospital.
The consulate general immediately activated the emergency mechanism and cooperated with local authorities to carry out rescue operation. Chinese-invested enterprises near the accident scene were arranged to assist in the rescue and treatment.
Local police said further investigations on the coach's Vietnamese driver are underway, Vietnamese media reported.
