(ECNS) -- As the 19th Asian Games Dragon Boat event in Hangzhou came to a close, the technical service team at Wenzhou Dragon Boat Center received a total of 21 handwritten thank-you letters in various languages.
"Heartfelt, high-quality, and efficient service," one letter read.
"Thank you for your meticulous and professional service, which has laid a solid foundation for the high-quality working of all technical staff," another said.
Some letters expressed gratitude for timely assistance during emergencies, while others appreciated the consistent warm service. However, the common thread across all languages is the inclusion of the word 'thanks' to convey appreciation.
Services provided to technical officials encompass 10 aspects, including catering, accommodation, clothing, transportation, and more.
“We function as a central hub, handling tasks ranging from initial information collection during registration to issues related to arrivals and departures. We are on standby 24 hours a day," said supervisor Huang Lepei.
The service team consists of 14 members, providing support for 78 domestic and international technical officials. The earliest arrival among the technical officials was on Sept. 29, but the service team started preparations as early as May.
"The venue, organization, and logistical support were all first class,” said Fan Guangsheng, president of the Asian Dragon Boat Federation and chairman of the China Dragon Boat Association.
“The water quality and facilities at the dragon boat racecourse were the best I have seen so far. The overall operation of the Wenzhou team was also very efficient and rigorous," he added.
