(ECNS) -- Central Asia Park opened in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province on Sunday, providing a new platform for regional cooperation on trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
Covering 53 hectares, the park is designed to introduce elements from Central Asian countries and modern garden techniques.
The park includes a landscape area, Silk Road Meeting Room and Central Asian catering hub.
The Silk Road Mall offers visitors a chance to buy 1,000 kinds of products from Central Asian counties like clothes, jewelry, art works. Food like cookies, coffee, candy, and honey from a batch of Central Asian brands are also served.
Visitors flocked to the park on the opening day.
The Central Asia Park is expected to actively participate in international exchanges and cooperation, establish friendly relations with parks and scenic spots in Central Asian countries, share resources, hold exhibitions and promote cultural exchanges. In the future, it will become a landmark for cultural exchange.
