(ECNS) -- A five-story residential building in Datong Township, Tongling City, east China’s Anhui Province, collapsed at about 1:40 p.m on Monday, causing at least five people missing, according to local authorities.
Other individuals who were at risk have been safely evacuated.
The building is located at No. 48 Longyuan Community in Datong.
The cause of the collapse is still under investigation while a rescue operation is in full swing.
