Bahrain opens first direct flight to China

(ECNS) -- Bahrain inaugurated a civilian aviation route from Bahrain International Airport to Shanghai Pudong Airport on Tuesday, marking its first direct flight to China.

The Gulf Air will also launch a direct flight from Bahrain to Guangzhou, South China’s Guangzhou city on Wednesday.

There will be one direct flight between Bahrain and China every day thereafter: from Bahrain to Shanghai on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and from Bahrain to Guangzhou on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
