What China accomplished from 1980 to 2020 is unprecedented in world history, said Jeffrey D. Sachs, president of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, during a panel on the sidelines of the second High-Level Conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development held in Beijing on Friday.
“It went from poverty to wealth, investing around the world in development and it will get the returns in the future,” he said.
