(ECNS) -- With the 2024 Paris Olympics approaching, Chinese enterprises are experiencing a surge in sports equipment orders, showcasing growing influence in the global sports industry.

A Guangzhou-based sports goods company has produced the official table tennis balls for the 2024 Paris Olympics, marking the second time since 2016 that the company has been the exclusive supplier for the Olympic Games.

With the endorsement of the Olympic Games, the company has received numerous worldwide orders.

As of last Tuesday, the company has already exported 22 batches of more than 650,000 Olympic ping-pang balls to 15 countries and regions, with a total value of about 2.1 million yuan ($0.29 million).

Along with the ping-pang ball orders, it has also exported other sports goods such as badminton, volleyball and soccer to 20 countries and regions, with a total value of 6.8 million yuan ($0.93 million), up 13.5 percent year on year.

Another Guangzhou-based sports goods enterprise provides competition uniforms of sport climbing for Chinese team at the Olympics.

Thanks to its fine climbing products, the company has gained a good reputation across the world, even becoming a partner of the International Federation of Sport Climbing.

There is another Guangzhou company that produces artificial turf. After providing their products for the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and 2002, the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games and other great contests, the company sees steady growth in sales.

This company boasts the largest artificial grass weaving machine in Asia, measuring about 30 meters in length and 15 meters in width, with a monthly production capacity of over 15,000 square meters.

The unique woven structure of the artificial turf allows natural grass to grow through. And a new type of material can inhibits bacterial activity to protect lawn better.
