(ECNS) -- China retail prosperity index, a barometer of retailer expectations, rose to 51.4 percent in October, up 0.8 percentage points from the previous month, continuing a strong upward trend for two months, according to China General Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.
The data indicates that China's policy measures are robust and well-targeted, fueling a booming consumer market and raising positive growth expectations for the country's economy.

E-commerce logistics market demand grows at 30 percent since July
Moreover, as consumer potential continues to be unleashed, online shopping activities have become more active. In September, China's e-commerce logistics index, an indicator of logistics operations in the e-commerce sector, rose to 114.4 points, an increase of 0.2 points from the previous month, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing on Wednesday.
In terms of sub-indexes, the total e-commerce logistics business volume in September was 131.2 points, up 0.7 points from the previous month. The figure tracking the business volume in rural areas reached 129.4 points, an increase of 0.5 points over the previous month.
Overall, China's market demand in e-commerce logistics has sustained a growth rate of over 30 percent since the second half of the year, reflecting steady and consistent market development.
127 new international freight routes launched by the end of September
Data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing shows that as of Sept. 30, a total of 127 new international freight routes have come into service across the country, with more than 370 round-trip flights launched each week.
Among the new routes, flight routes to Asia are in the majority, reaching 65, followed by those to Europe with 39.
In terms of cargo, the main export goods include e-commerce products, fresh food, electronic products, and automotive parts.
Network traffic experiences significant increase during National Day holiday
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that during the National Day holiday, the average daily number of domestic inter-provincial roaming users reached 266 million, up 5.6 percent year-on-year.
The average daily number of inbound roaming users from international regions, including China’s Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, totalled 6.96 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 20.7 percent. Additionally, the daily average data usage for 5G/4G rose by 13 percent compared to the previous year.
