(ECNS) -- Jiaxing City in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province has introduced the country’s first integrated card for foreigners, known as the "Join In Card." This innovation grants access to 264 services across eight essential sectors, including government affairs, finance, culture and tourism, transportation, and healthcare.
At the launch event, foreign expert representatives from 11 countries and regions, including the United States, France, India, and Ethiopia, were among the first to receive the Card.
Stephen Fox is a foreign expert from a local energy company. Having lived and worked in Haining, a county-level city in Jiaxing, for 13 years, he shared his experience as one of the recipients.
“Previously, it was inconvenient to register at hospitals, purchase medicine, or borrow books. Now, with both the physical and electronic 'Join In Card,' I no longer need to carry my passport, which has solved many challenges in my daily life,” Fox said.
