(ECNS) -- A China-Europe freight train bound for Moscow, Russia departed from Changzhi City, north China's Shanxi Province on Friday, marking the first one of its kind in this region.
The train, fully loaded with homemade automobiles, is scheduled to travel more than 8,000 kilometers to the Belerast Railway Station in Moscow after a 15-day journey.
Huayuan International Land Port Group, the operator of the train, said that to further boost export of local products to global markets, it will collaborate with multiple partners to establish another hub for the China-Europe freight train in Shanxi.
As Shanxi's largest integrated logistics company, the Group has established an international freight services network with a total of 23 regular routes, connecting 48 major cities across 16 countries.
