China FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co. Ltd. and Ford (China) will recall over 20,000 imported vehicles in China over safety concerns, according to the country's customs authorities.
FAW-Volkswagen plans to recall 20,278 imported A4 Allroad, A5 vehicles produced between November 7, 2011 and November 8, 2013 due to ineffective auxiliary coolant pumps in the engine, the General Administration of Customs (GAC) said.
The company offered to replace the pumps for the recalled cars free of charge.
Meanwhile, Ford (China) will recall 1,177 imported F-150 SuperCrew vehicles manufactured between June 6, 2017 and November 25, 2017 over a fastener installation defect, according to the GAC.
