China’s imports and exports registered rapid growth in the first half of this year, with the value of the country’s imports and exports in goods standing at 14.12 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.9 percent year-on-year, official data showed.
China’s imports grew by 11.5 percent to 6.61 trillion yuan, while exports increased by 4.9 percent to 7.51 trillion yuan, with trade surplus shrinking by 26.7 percent to 901.32 billion yuan, said the General Administration of Customs in a press conference on Friday.
