Chinese leading on-demand mobility platform Didi Chuxing has inked a strategic partnership with global online travel agency Booking Holdings to offer users more comprehensive and personalized travel experiences, DiDi announced Tuesday.
Under the partnership, Booking brands will have the ability to offer on-demand car services powered by DiDi through their apps, and DiDi customers will have the option to book hotels through Booking.com or Agoda.
Meanwhile, Booking has invested 500 million U.S. dollars in DiDi.
Booking Holdings serves users and partners in more than 220 countries and territories through its major brands including Booking.com, agoda.com, and Priceline.com, while DiDi offers a full range of app-based transportation services for over 550 million users across China, South America, Australia and Japan.
