The China men’s national basketball team will play against their Philippine counterpart in the opening game at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games, according to the men’s basketball schedule for the games, which was unveiled officially on Wednesday.
According to the schedule, China will play the Philippines first on August 21 and Kazakhstan two days later in group D.
Due to the Philippines-Australia brawl at an Asian World Cup qualifying match last month, Philippines withdrew 2018 Jakarta Asian Games. They reentered the games after criticism from fans.
