China and the U.S. have resumed high-level trade talks, Gao Feng, spokesperson for China's Commerce Ministry, announced at a press conference on Thursday.
The two sides have been in "close contact" to implement the consensus reached by the presidents of the two countries during a phone conversation on November 1, he said.
Enterprises from both sides have been influenced by the trade frictions and China still expects to solve the disagreement through talks in a bid to provide stable conditions for businesses, according to Gao.
