Cai Xiyou, a former CPC member and general manager at China's state-owned chemical firm Sinochem Group, was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Wednesday.
He pleaded guilty on the charges of bribery and said he would not appeal.
An investigation found that Cai accepted bribes totaling more than 53.67 million yuan (7.78 million U.S. dollars) between 1997 to 2016.
