Chinese shares closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.12 percent, closing at 3,027.58.
The Shenzhen Component Index increased 2.36 percent, ending at 9384.42.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, rose 3.31 percent to 1,619.71 points.
