The number of Chinese tourists that visited Israel in the third quarter of 2019 increased by 34.6 percent year on year, said Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics on Thursday.
According to the data, 34,200 tourists from China visited Israel from July to September in 2019, compared with 25,400 in the same months in 2018.
The number of Chinese tourists visiting Israel from January to September in 2019 was 118,900, an increase of 48.6 percent compared with 80,000 tourists in the same period in 2018.
In September this year, 13,700 tourists from China visited Israel, up 50.5 percent year on year.
About 3.3 million tourists visited Israel from January to September in 2019, an increase of about 14 percent compared with the same period in 2018.
