Gao Feng, spokesperson of Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Thursday briefed the media on the progress made during the latest round of high-level China-U.S. trade talks that concluded in Washington.
The two sides held "frank, efficient and constructive discussions" on the economic and trade issues of common concern and made "substantial progress", Gao said, adding that to meet domestic needs, Chinese companies have been importing products from the U.S. in accordance with the principle of marketization.
