China is looking forward to in-depth discussions with the United States on resolving their differences on the economic and trade front during U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo's visit to China, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
Ministry Spokeswoman Shu Jueting told a news conference that China will make its stance clear to the U.S. on economic and trade issues during Commerce Minister Wang Wentao's meeting with Raimondo and hopes to take ahead pragmatic cooperation.
At the invitation of Wang, his U.S. counterpart will visit China from Aug 27 to 30, according to the ministry earlier this week.
