The 24th China International Fair for Investment & Trade will be held from Sept. 8 to 11 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, Fujian Daily reported on Saturday.
Under the theme "Investment Connecting the World", the four-day event attracted 119 countries and regions to participate, among which about 80 percent are involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
As of Sept 6, a total of 38 foreign vice-ministerial levels or above guests, 60 international organization officials and diplomatic envoys, more than 100 representatives from multinational organizations, large State-owned enterprises and centrally controlled SOEs, industry-leading enterprises, as well as 42 financial experts and scholars have confirmed their participation.
The event, which covers an exhibition area of 120,000 square meters, is expected to attract more than 80,000 attendees and exhibitors.
This year, the fair will also feature an "Invest in China" matchmaking zone for the first time, providing various investment promotion forms such as roadshows, negotiations, and promotions to create a communication platform for all parties.
