PLA organizes Yunnan border partols

The Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army organized patrols at the border areas of Yunnan province on Monday.

According to a brief statement released by the theater command on Monday morning, it organized army units to the frontlines of the borders near Ruili and Zhenkang to carry out armed patrols and joint air-land patrols. This aimed to test the rapid mobility, three-dimensional encirclement and control, and joint strike capabilities of the theater command forces to maintain the security and stability of the border areas, it said.
