Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Wednesday that the U.S. decision to disinvite China to participate in the Pacific Rim military drill is unconstructive.
Speaking at a press conference with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo after their meeting, Wang said the decision of the U.S. Department of Defense is unadvised, and not conducive to enhancing mutual understanding and trust between the two countries.
