U.S. former president George H.W. Bush was hospitalized in Maine on Sunday after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue.
"President George H.W. Bush was taken to Southern Maine Health Care today after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue. He likely will remain there for a few days for observation. The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort." McGrath wrote on Twitter today.
Bush was previously admitted to Methodist Hospital in Houston hospital last month an infection spread to his blood the day after his wife Barbra’s funeral. He was discharged on May 4.
Bush arrived at his summer house in Maine on May 20 as he has done so in the past.
His twitter account posted about his meeting with the veterans on Saturday with multiple photos.
