Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy and Vice Premier Sun Chunlan will attend the 2018 Russian World Cup opening ceremony, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said on Tuesday.
Sun will travel to Russia from June 12 to 15 at the invitation of the Russian government.
