U.S. President Donald Trump has left for the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s Sentosa Island for his historic meeting with the leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un.
Trump is fully prepared for the summit and will talk with Kim with “positive attitude,” U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Monday at a news conference in Singapore, adding that the US' objective is complete, verifiable denuclearization.
Trump arrived in Singapore on Sunday evening, flying in from Canada where the G7 Summit was held.
