An Interpol-wanted fugitive named Xu Chaofan was repatriated from the United States back to China after 17 years on the run, said the top anti-graft agency Wednesday.
Xu, the former chief of Bank of China Kaiping branch in south China's Guangdong Province, was allegedly involved in embezzling about 485 million U.S. dollars, according to a statement from the official website of the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
