China is willing to work with African political parties to explore a development path that is in line with national conditions and to build a consensus on building a community of shared future in the new era, Song Tao, China's minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee said on Tuesday.
Song made this remark while attending a seminar of CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Tanzanian President Magufuli also attended the meeting.
Song said that this year's dialogue will go out of China and head to Africa for the first time, which will have a positive impact on promoting the development of the two sides.
Hailing the long-standing friendship between the two countries, Song said the CPC is willing to enhance party-to-party exchanges with Tanzania's ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and learn from each other.
China will adhere to the principles of sincerity, real results, affinity and good faith in its Africa policy, which was put forward by President Xi Jinping, and take bilateral ties to a new high, Song said.
Magufuli confirmed that the dialogue will surely inject strong momentum into the higher-level exchanges and cooperation and make political contributions to both China and Africa.
Magufuli said the CCM will continue to maintain and carry forward the traditional friendship between the two countries and further promote bilateral relations.
