Chinese President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing on Saturday after a friendly visit to Mauritius, ending his first overseas trip since his second presidential term started in March.
Mauritius is the last leg of Xi's tour to five Arab and African nations.
Ahead of the friendly visit to Mauritius, Xi paid state visits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Senegal, Rwanda and South Africa. He also attended the 10th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg from July 25 to 27.
