Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) declared early Friday that current President Emmerson Mnangagwa has won the nation's presidential election.
According to the counting result, Mnangagwa received 2,460,463 votes, which accounted for 50.8 percent of the total votes.
His biggest rival, Nelson Chamisa from opposition MDC Alliance, got 2,147,436 votes.
