At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Dominican President Danilo Medina is scheduled to pay a state visit to China from Thursday to Nov. 6.
Medina, 67, had been president of the Chamber of Deputies and chief of staff to the president.
Medina was elected Dominican president in 2012. He was re-elected in May 2016 and sworn in in August.
