As an important media activity of the second Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation, the Belt and Road Innovation Forum on 5G and 4K Communication hosted by China Media Group (CMG) and Belt and Road Media Community was successfully held in Beijing on April 22.
The forum released a proposal on 5G and 4K innovation which calls for all members of the Belt and Road Media Community to share opportunities, take advantage of new technologies and create new space for win-win benefits.
The proposal stresses the purpose of wide consultation, joint contribution, and shared benefits and the principles of spirit of peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit. Under the new wave of technological revolution, the proposal will open up broader space for media development of all countries and make new contributions to the building of the community of shared future for mankind.
The proposal released the five points of consensus reached by the delegates, including seizing new opportunities for development and promoting the development of new technologies, speeding up resource sharing, highlighting communication innovation, open cooperation, and building consensus.
