Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will visit Japan between Thursday and Saturday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said Monday.
Yang, also director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, will hold the sixth high-level political dialogue between China and Japan with Shotaro Yachi, head of Japan's National Security Council, Geng said.
Both sides will exchange views about China-Japan relations as well as other issues of common concern, he added.
