Chinese President Xi Jinping is attending a welcome ceremony hosted by Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan on Thursday.
Xi is paying a state visit to Kyrgyzstan scheduled for June 12 to 14, where he will also attend the 19th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held in Bishkek.
This is President Xi's second visit to Kyrgyzstan after his trip to the country six years ago.
