Chinese President Xi Jinping left Beijing on Thursday morning to attend the Group of 20 (G20) summit in Osaka, Japan, marking his seventh consecutive attendance of the summit.
During his three-day stay, Xi will participate in discussions covering a range of topics from world economy and trade to climate, energy and environment.
On the sidelines of the summit, a series of multilateral and bilateral meetings with several national leaders are also on Xi's agenda, including the highly-anticipated meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
