The FBI has opened a domestic terrorism investigation into the shooting incident at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California, saying the suspected shooter had a “target list”.
The incident left three people dead and at least 15 injured.
It was the 246th mass shooting in the U.S. this year, according to US tracking website Gun Violence Archive.
The suspect who was identified as 19-year-old Santino William Legan was killed by police within a minute of opening fire at the food festival.
