The article entitled "Toward Greater Progress of China-Nepal Friendship across the Himalayas" was published on newspaper outlets, including Gorkhapatra Daily and the Rising Nepal.
The peoples of China and Nepal share the same dreams and destinies, President Xi pointed out in his article, looking forward to a great plan of cooperation between the two countries.
The Chinese president recalled the time since the two nations established diplomatic ties in 1955. According to President Xi, the relationship is a model for neighboring countries, featuring equality, friendly cooperation, and win-win cooperation.
China and Nepal are good friends that respect and trust each other, good partners that work for the benefits of each other, good neighbors that learn from each other and good brothers that help each other, wrote President Xi in his article.
President Xi is set to visit Nepal – his first official visit to the country – on Saturday, after finishing up his informal meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in south India.
