Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday stressed prompt research and efforts to address legal inadequacies related to new forms of employment.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks when joining a joint panel discussion attended by national political advisors from the economic sector.
New forms of employment shone through the COVID-19 epidemic, Xi said, calling for efforts to address prominent issues including legal guarantee of related workforce and protection of consumers' legitimate rights and interests.
