Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, met with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on June 16 and 17 in Hawaii.
The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China-U.S. relations as well as international and regional issues of common interest.
