Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi on Friday exchanged sympathy messages on the casualties and property damage caused by heavy floods in both countries.
The two sides will continue to keep close communication and frequent dialogues to maintain and promote the improvement and development of China-Japan ties, they said in the messages.
