White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said on Monday that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement posted on Twitter, McEnany said she is experiencing no symptoms and that she will begin the quarantine process and will continue working remotely.
"No reporters, producers, or members of the press are listed as close contacts by the White House Medical Unit," the official said.
The announcement came days after U.S. President Donald Trump said he had caught the virus.
