China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin on Friday extended congratulations to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, adding China respects the choice of the American people.
"We understand that the outcome of the U.S. elections will be determined in accordance with U.S. laws and procedures," Wang added.
