Ivanka Trump, U.S. President Donald Trump's daughter and senior adviser, has been deposed by attorneys alleging that Trump's 2017 inauguration committee misused donor funds, CNN reported on Wednesday, citing a new court filing.
The document notes that Ivanka Trump was interviewed Tuesday by attorneys from the Washington, D.C. attorney general's office.
In January, the D.C. attorney general's office sued the Trump Organization and Presidential Inaugural Committee alleging they abused more than $1 million raised by the nonprofit by "grossly overpaying" for use of event space at the Trump hotel in Washington for the 2017 inauguration.
