China has called on the U.S. to address to the concerns of the international community and take concrete actions to safeguard international and regional peace and security, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Monday in response to Russia exiting the Open Skies Treaty.
The reason for Russia's withdrawal from the Open Skies Treaty is that the U.S. unilaterally broke the agreement despite opposition among the international community, which damaged mutual trust militarily and had a serious negative impact on international arms control, said Hua.
