China to impose sanctions on U.S. officials acting badly on Taiwan question: spokesperson

In view of the wrong actions of the United States, China has decided to impose sanctions on relevant U.S. officials who have performed badly on the Taiwan question, a foreign ministry spokesperson said Monday.

Spokesperson Hua Chunying made the remarks when responding to a question on the United States' recent decision to ease restrictions on exchanges between the United States and China's Taiwan region.
