Seventy-five percent of Russians said they view China favorably, a significant increase from last year, a poll showed on Friday.
According to statistics provided by the Moscow-based Levada Center, Russians' views of China have significantly improved in 2021, with 75 percent of the respondents displaying positive attitudes toward the country in comparison to 65 percent in January 2020.
Only 10 percent of the surveyed respondents said they view China negatively, with similar attitudes demonstrated across all age groups.
The poll was conducted from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2 with 1,616 respondents over the age of 18 taking part.
