The following are some highlights about the annual sessions on March 9. 

--NPC deputies held group meetings to deliberate documents including the work reports of the NPC Standing Committee, the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

--Presidium of the fourth session of the 13th NPC held its second meeting.

--The NPC Constitution and Law Committee deliberated the revised draft decisions on amending the Organic Law of the NPC and the Rules of Procedure for the NPC and on improving the electoral system of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

--The CPPCC National Committee members held group meetings to discuss the work reports of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate and deliberated draft resolutions and reports.

--The Chairperson's Council of the CPPCC National Committee held a meeting.

Chinese premier to meet press on Thursday

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will meet the press at the Great Hall of the People after the conclusion of the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress on Thursday afternoon.

Li will take questions from Chinese and foreign reporters via video link in consideration of epidemic prevention and control and public health protection.

Chinese version of international travel health certificate officially rolled out

The Chinese version of the international travel health certificate was officially launched on the WeChat mini program, available for Chinese citizens.

The certificate includes nucleic acid test and serum antibody results, vaccine inoculation and other information. It has an encrypted code to allow authorities to verify the holder’s personal information.
